The officer was commissioned into the Army Education Corps (AEC) in 1998. A double graduate in Science and Education, she holds a Master Degree in Business Administration. She has held a series of successful instructional appointments in the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy, Bengal Engineer Group and Army Education Corps Training College & Centre and also has vast experience of staff appointment at Brigade, Division, Corps and Command Headquarters.
